ROBIN WEIGERT
ROBIN WEIGERT is currently garnering acclaim in the HBO original series Deadwood , in which she stars as Calamity Jane. She was also recently featured in Mike Nichols' adaptation of Angels in America with Emma Thompson, Meryl Streep, and Al Pacino. Other recent credits include Poppy Norton-Taylor in the hit Broadway revival of Noises Off. She was nominated for Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel awards for her turn in Richard Nelson's Madame Melville, with Joely Richardson and Macaulay Culkin. She both played and understudied Masha in The Seagull in Central Park, with Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline. Her Off-Broadway credits include A Place at the Table (MCC), Arms and the Man (Roundabout), Hamlet, understudying Liev Schreiber (Public), Goodnight, Children Everywhere (Playwrights Horizons), Pride's Crossing (LCT), and The Three Sisters (La MAMA ETC). Robin has appeared regionally at McCarter, Arena Stage, Long Wharf, New York Stage and Film, and the Berkshire Theatre Festival. Her other film credits include Craig Marsden's short film What I Came For, and Chris Munch's Sleepytime Gal (Sundance 2001), In God's Hands, with other small screen outings on Without A Trace and Law & Order..
